COMPANY

Molina Cáceres Coydán embraces the stage as a multimodal power trio. This formation merges different backgrounds of three senior artists into a new language based on contrast; minimal equipment to maximize experience and the aim to reach universal scope staring at something specific.
Improviser, composer and guitarist Ramiro Molina, choreographer and dancer Alejandro Cáceres join set designer David Coydán in a creative playground which embodies political and cultural climate of post pandemic Chile.
After their first work together, the dance piece INENARRABLE EVOCATIONS OF NATURALIZED HORROR, the trio investigates different scenic languages while conducting workshops and performance-lectures.
EVOCATIONS
UNSPEAKABLE EVOCATIONS OF NATURALIZED HORROR, a minimalistic piece of dance based on interaction of a single performer and everyday environment -a small room with a sofa, a door out of place and a bunch of objects. Sound of movement is amplified, processed and transformed by the musician’s live operation, who adds new layers of sound material with electric guitar and stomp boxes.
Proximity to the audience allows them to recognize each sound source and link it with movement, connecting with imagery and perception of attendees.

The concepts gathered in the main title determines a semantic field of the dizzying cluster of sensations, sound, kinetics and visual development within this “enclosure”. This work involves body, time and objects to appeal perception and thinking on the naturalization of past and present horrors, personal and collective.
